Born, raised, live in Bali, Indonesia. My parents were missionaries. Much as boys raised in snowy mountains grow up skiing, I grew up surfing, although these days in Bali I seem to frolic in the surf with the whole world. As a kid and young adult, I read a lot too.
I have published four young adult novels with Simon and Schuster: THE FLAME TREE, THE KILLING SEA, THE DEMON QUEEN, MONSTER’S PROOF.
